alkaline protease - added in the soaking phase to improve water uptake by the dry skins, removal and degradation of protein, dirt, and fats, and reduces the processing time. Lipases -used in the bating phase to specifically remove grease.

enzymes are mainly used for processing of the textiles i. E. Preparatory and finishing of the goods. Some of the applications include removing of starch, bleaching, degrading lignin, fading of denim and non-denim, removal of peroxidases, finishing of wool, decolouration of dyestuff, bio-scouring, bio-polishing, etc.

 enhanced digestion and absorption of nutrients especially fat and protein, increased feed intake, weight gain, and feed-gain ratio, reduced beak impaction and vent plugging, decreased size of gastrointestinal tract & reduction in digesta viscosity.
